＜Lucky＞

以前、このブログの「猫の話」で実家の猫のことを
紹介したことがあります。

I’ve writen about my family home cat Lucky on my blog before.

大学で生まれ学校野良猫として育てらてたこの猫は、
いきさつあってラッキーと名付けられ、
私の実家で飼われるようになりました。
(そのいきさつについては「猫の話」の時にふれてあります）
寂しい思いをして育ったからか、すごく甘えん坊で
優しいとても性格のいいかわいい猫でした。

He was born in the university, and grew up an university
stray cat. When the university decided that they were
not going to keep this stray cat in there, one of
gradates carried him to her home. She who started working
was so busy, and had been coming home late almost
every night. She lived in my family home’s neighborhood.
Maybe the cat had felt lonesome always. Before long the cat
started to appear on our garden. First, my mom thought
that he was an abandoned cat. So she named him “Lucky”
and decided to keep our house. After a while, my mom knew that
the real owner was looking for Lucky. She went owner house
return Lucky, but, no matter how many times mom went return
Lucky, he came back each time. Finally, an original owner said,
” Please keep him. I feel maybe he wants to live here genuinely.”
After that, Lucky became our cat formally.
Vet said ”Lucky is perhaps 3 years old now.” first time.
He was so lovely and had a gentle character.
So he always melted our heart.

９月、ラッキーは突然天国に旅立ってしまいました。まだ１０歳でした。
もともと心臓に病気があったのでした。
亡くなるまでの２週間くらいの間、ラッキーは母の横に
きては寄り添い、その手をなめていたそうです。
いつもはそんなことをしたことなかったのにと、母は言ってました。
もしかしたら、お別れを言ってたのかもしれないです。
その名の通り家族に沢山の幸せを運んで来てくれました。
良い思い出をいっぱいありがとうラッキー。

In September, Lucky has gone to heaven suddenly. He was only 10 years old.
He was born with a weak heart.
For two weeks before passing away, He always cuddled up to my mom,
and continued to lick mom’s hand with his tongue.
It was unusual for him, mom said.
Maybe he wanted to say goodbyes.

Lucky as his name suggests had brought us a lot of happiness.
